Five Senses Smell Experiment in Year 1 Science

Thursday, June 23, 2022

Over the last two weeks in Year 1 Science the children have been learning about the five senses. In this activity the children were testing their predictions of which objects would have an odour and which would be odourless. Objects we tested were limes, glass, aluminium foil, soap, onions and more. We then recorded our experiment data in the workbooks and reflected on what we learned from our results. It was pleasing to see the children enjoy their science experiment and learn about the world around them at the same time.
