Year 12 Mathematics – Calculating Probability

Tuesday, June 21, 2022

From the beginning of this semester, year 12 students are doing their best in mathematics classes contributing to their full potential in all their learning activities.

This week they continued their lessons on Probability with Mr. Mahesh Kumar. We often use probability assessments informally in our daily lives to plan or make decisions. Formal probability theory is a fundamental tool used by researchers and healthcare providers, insurance companies, stockbrokers, and many others to make decisions in contexts of uncertainty.

The students really enjoy learning in their classrooms. They practiced finding random variables, and their probability distribution and calculating mean, variance, and Standard distributions of real-life situations and problems.
