Throughout the year students and teachers gather so that important information and notifications can be shared. This week we talked about the importance of a tidy classroom and wearing the correct uniform. We also discussed why it is important to have our books and the correct equipment ready for each class.
We also talked about our upcoming spelling tests and the importance of getting consistently high scores, as well as choosing clubs for the first term.
To finish off our assemblies teachers like to award students with merit awards for a range of attributes such as excellent behavior, good teamwork and great participation. This is a fantastic way to motivate and engage students in their learning.
Well done to all the students who received a merit award this week. The Year 4 team looks forward to more assemblies throughout the school year.
