Each year, Assumption College English Program holds a writing competition which challenges students to submit original English compositions. This year, we held a short-story competition. Each competitor submitted an original piece of short fiction. The stories were judged by their originality, use of English, and ability to keep the reader’s attention. We had some very strong entries this year. Each winner displayed some real writing talent, applying their skills of descriptive writing to tell an engaging story. The competition was split into two groups–Upper Secondary and Lower Secondary. Each winner received a Certificate of Achievement and a gift voucher to spend at any Central mall.
Upper Secondary Winners
1st place: Sirikorn Kanchanasiripakdee (12/2)
2nd Place: Bei Lu Shen (10/1)
Lower Secondary Winners
1st place: Thanisa Sakvararat (9/5)
2nd place: Tarisa Banpalitanon (8/3)
3rd place: Chavakorn Akaradechawut (8/1)
Congratulations to all the winners. We are very proud see such talent on display!
