Year 1 students have been learning all about symmetry this test period. Students have had so much fun exploring different shapes, objects and patterns looking for symmetry. We have used many hands on and engaging activities to practice finding the line of symmetry as well as creating reflective patterns.
This week students had fun using our iPads to practice creating symmetrical images on the Symmetry app and got very creative when painting their symmetrical butterflies.
We hope the students use their new knowledge to keep exploring symmetry all around them. Great job Year 1!
