During Summer School the Year 2 children have been enjoying ‘technology time’ to introduce them to some of the earning apps used in Year 2 during the school year. All the students seem to enjoy the English based reading, spelling, and story apps as well as the time and addition based apps in Maths.
Science apps like electric circuit making, astronomy and solar system apps were popular too. Surprisingly the most popular app was the ancient game of checkers, because students could challenge their friends to a game.
It is wonderful to see the children using new technology to learn new things that interest them and have fun as well.
