Summer School has been a great opportunity for the Year 8 students with Mr Roger to do some more practical Mathematic tasks that they would not normally have time to do. The program has included a variety of activities that have put their mathematical skills to use by completing fun exercises.
This week students explored Geometry further by looking at Platonic solids and their properties. Students have then constructed 3D models of three polyhedrons to enable them to explore practically the characteristics of these objects.
During the third week of Summer School students will design, create, and play mathematical board games.
