One of the most important tools to solve Mathematics is having excellent critical thinking skills. How do you develop your critical thinking? Well by doing activities that makes you think creatively and allowing you to think outside of the box.

That is exactly what we did this week in Summer School. The year 7s were split into groups and was given the instructions to build the tallest tower that could support the weight of a tennis ball with straws. In their groups they all worked together to come up with very creative towers. Although not all the groups succeeded, we definitely all had a lot of fun doing this!
