Year 6 Physical Education: Warmup and Stretching

During Test Period 1 students have been learning the importance of implementing an appropriate warm up and stretching routine before engaging in physical activities. The content covered during this test period includes gymnastics, fitness, and throwing and catching skills. We aim to help our students develop confidence in fundamental movements. Students have been gaining experience in locomotor and non-locomotor movements necessary to participate in a variety of athletic activities as well as maintain health and wellness. Physical Education provides our students with a unique opportunity to develop from a wholesome approach. Students develop physically, mentally, and socially through sport and fitness content.
