Year 12 Mathematics – Calculus
September 20, 2019
Change is all around us – the changing levels of water as a bathtub fills up, the changing profits of a company as additional product is sold, or the changing temperature as the seasons change. The study of calculus is the study of rates of change – how quickly one quantity is changing in relation to another. In Grade 12 Math at Assumption, we have been learning the fundamental tools of Calculus, and applying these tools to solve problems related to change. In doing so, students develop the ability to apply Mathematical thought to everyday situations.
