Thai Staff English Test
On Thursday 4th July the Bell Language Centre conducted a grammar and vocabulary entry test for over forty of our Thai staff, ahead of their courses, which will commence this month. In addition, the staff members completed a speaking assessment with Bell teachers to assess their starting levels on Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th July.
These tests are part of their introduction to our popular Thai staff courses, which Bell have run for the last few years at ACEP. We offer Elementary, Cambridge Key English Test and Cambridge Preliminary test courses for participants, with the overall objective being to break down language barriers between Thai and foreign staff and build confidence in the language, with a view to gaining a globally recognized Cambridge qualification.
We have always received great feedback from our courses and the Thai staff find them very useful and enjoyable. In addition to the academic side, these courses offer the opportunity for foreign and Thai staff to build friendships, which is great for general morale within the school.
We are very excited and optimistic about improving the English ability of our Thai staff and are very much looking forward to some more success stories in 2019/20.
