Students Fantastic on Plastic Pollution

July 10, 2018
This week at Assumption College English Program, year 11 students have begun their investigations into plastic pollution as part of their unit of study on the environment.
Students have already discussed what they conclude to be the most pressing environmental issues of our times, having compared air pollution and congestion levels within major international cities, as well as understood the impact on health and populations as a consequence of environmental change.
The unit project focuses specifically on plastic bag pollution and students must collaborate to identify the main issue, research the problems and solutions, as well as examine the effect of their own plastic bag use. Students have the option of producing an essay or illustrated slides.
