Secondary Health and PE
July 13, 2020
The new school term started and we are well underway. Covid-19 made things difficult for everyone but the here at ACEP we did the best we could to still educate during this difficult time period, the students had Zoom and online classes and it was no different for Health and Physical Education. Health was pretty easy as the students learned about different topics and we covered theory. Physical education was a bit more difficult but the teachers had to be creative, they created online videos where the students had to do different body exercises. This was good as the students arrived at school fit and ready for the new term.
This term the secondary students at ACEP will learn many different sports. They will have a variety of sport and exercise available to them during their Physical Education classes. Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Chair ball, Muay Thai, Aerobics and football will be different sports they will play. They will not only play games but learn the different skills and techniques required for these sports.
Health will be interesting as always, the school will focus and educate the students on Covid-19 and the different health and safety measures the students will have to follow. Other important topics will also be covered this term and the students will benefit plenty from these topics.
