Primary PE: Fitness and Athletics

During Test Period 2 students have been learning how to use fitness equipment. The content covered during this test period includes fitness and athletics. We aim to help our students learn how to use equipment appropriately and safely. Students can improve fitness related skills such as muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and body composition. Students have been gaining experience in locomotor and non-locomotor movements necessary to participate in a variety of athletic activities as well as maintain health and wellness. Physical Education provides our students with a unique opportunity to develop from a wholesome approach. Students develop physically, mentally, and socially through sport and fitness content.
