ACEP Secondary Opens Photography Classroom
Wednesday, August 8, 2018
ACEP Secondary is very excited to announce the opening of a new photography classroom & studio in the Regina Coeli Building. This classroom will be used by our students in photography club & after school courses, as well as our student photographers who do steady work in documenting our many school events. The classroom is managed by our photography club coordinator, Mr. Dax Ward, who leads our student photography activities, which include competitions, exhibitions, field trips and photo walks. The classroom hosts a photo-quality printer, student work exhibits, iMac computers for digital processing, and a ‘soft box’ lighting setup for studio photography work. The room also has a 3D printer for use in our 3D modeling courses in ACEP Secondary Technology lessons.
The secondary photography classroom will also provide a space for our students to process and prepare photos for the exhibition booth to be displayed for the upcoming visit of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during the Opening Ceremony of Academic Buildings and School Facilities in December. This event will be a great honor for our students and teachers and we hope to make the photography display a wonderful exhibit of our students’ talent.
Below are a some images of the new classroom. We look forward to seeing more work from our photography students who now have access to some excellent new ACEP facilities for expanding their work!
