iPad Training for Foreign Teachers
March 30, 2016
On Tuesday March 29th, 2016 Assumption College English Program officially launched its 2016 iPad training initiative. An iPad training seminar, focusing on practical applications in the classroom, was held for primary teachers. This session was led by Mr. Peraphon Benhamud, an experienced Apple trainer and Education Development Manager.
During the 2016 academic year teachers will be provided with 12 unique courses covering many interesting, practical iPad topics. These courses include Learning with iPads, Engaging Early Learners, Reaching All Learners, Cross Curricular for Elementary, Facilitating Real World Learning, Creating Exploration, Authentic Reading and Writing, Fostering Health and Fitness, Visualising Data, Documenting with iMovie, Creating with Keynote, and Capturing with Photos. These trainings will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
The primary objective of this project is for ACEP teachers to provide students with exciting, engaging learning experiences, using technology. We aim to provide our staff with the best training available to allow them to eventually achieve Apple Distinguished Educator status (for more information please see the link below). Our next seminar is schedule for May 12th and 13th, during ACEP’s Professional Development Fair.
