ACEP Students Represent Thailand at the “First Lego League Jr. International Open Japan”

On July 15th – 16th, a group of four students student traveled to Japan to represent Thailand in the “First Lego League Jr. International Open Japan.”:
- Kittipat Srilekarat (Class: 4/2; ID: 987)
- Teerakarn Simaroj (Class: 5/4; ID: 650)
- Nattanicha Dejsakulrit (Class: 5/6; ID: 723)
- Nannapat Batsomboon (Class: 6/6; ID: 418)
The competition which was held in Nagoya, was joined by 21 teams from eleven countries: Japan, People’s Republic of China, Russia, Republic of India, Republic of Singapore, Republic of the Philippines, South Korea, Republic of Indonesia, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, and Thailand.
On the first day, our students participated in various team building activities. During the activities, our students had the opportunity to work with students from other countries. The highlight was to design a moon base, which our students designed and built with students from China.
On the second day, all the participants presented their projects to the visitors and judges. Our students presented “Khlong Lat Pho Floodgate Project” which impressed the judges and was awarded “Building and Discovery Award.”
We would like to thank our Director, Bro. Dr. Pisutr Vapiso, for his help and support. The students received financial support from ACEP amounting to 60,000 Baht to help with the expenses associated with participating in the competition.
