ACEP Students Arrive in Adelaide for Scholarship in Australia Program
On Saturday, March 9, a group of 10 ACEP students accompanied by 2 Brothers and 6 teachers departed Thailand for Adelaide, South Australia for a 3-week Study Tour. This study abroad program is a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience learning in an Australian school, learn about Australian culture, and make new friends from other countries. The Assumption College English Program is sponsoring the students with a scholarship of 40% of total costs of the program. In order to be selected and participate in this Study Tour, the students had to pass an English test and interviews with Thai and foreign teachers. We wish those students a wonderful experience in Australia and we are proud to have these exemplary students to represent our school.
As the students will be participating in activities, the ACEP Brothers and teachers will visit various schools to exchange ideas with Australian teachers; They will also work-shadow Australian teachers to get an idea of how they perform their daily instruction and academic tasks. This is a great opportunity for our teachers to see how teachers in other countries teach and manage their classrooms and what teaching techniques they use when delivering their lessons.
