Friday, June 8, 2018
It has always been a priority for our school to build links with universities and educational institutions in Thailand and abroad. The links provide our staff with development opportunities and allow for the exchange of the ideas and knowledge sharing. However most importantly, they provide our students with study programs and admission quotas to study at some of the most prestigious universities.
Today, Assumption College English Program (ACEP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahidol University International College (MUIC).
The MoU signed today will provide many benefits for our teachers and students including the admission quota for ACEP students to study at Academic Programs offered by MUIC. The so called MUIC Excellence Entrance Track will allow our students to apply to study at these very prestigious programs by submitting their TOEFT (iBT) or IELTS scores and SAT 1 (Maths) score. The details of the scores required for admission to each of the degree programs can be found below.
Today’s ceremony, which was held in the Multipurpose Room of The Trinity Building was attended by many special guests, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phitaya Charupoonphol, Dean of MUIC, Ms. Ketvaree Phatanakaew, Head of Public Relations, MUIC, Mr. Pitsanu Leelathavornpanya, President, ACEP Parent and Teacher Association, and Mr. Chokchai Jinnawaso, Member of ACEP School Board.
The ceremony included speeches by our Director, Bro. Dr. Pisutr Vapiso, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phitaya Charupoonphol, Dean of MUIC as well as presentations about our school and Mahidol University International College.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the parent representatives, administrators, teachers, and students for their participation in this very important event.
We are very proud to be recognized by such an esteemed university, and we are looking forward to working together for the benefit of our students.
