Assumption College English Program school (ACEP) is located within the grounds of the Assumption College Rama II Campus. The school officially opened in May 2012 with just 252 students and now educates over 900 young male and female students Year 1-12 classes.
Since opening, ACEP has developed a very good reputation with the parents of current and prospective students. We are a co-educational campus, for both primary and secondary students. ACEP aims to provide students with a well-rounded, quality education in a safe and supportive environment that is respectful of both Thai and western cultures.
Although it now operates as its own entity, ACEP was originally the third campus of Assumption College Bangkok. Our ‘parent’ school first began to offer an English Program (EP) in 2002. At that time, classes were offered for boys in Year 1 and Year 7 at the Primary and Secondary School campuses respectively. This number increased annually by 100 student in both the Primary and Secondary schools until 2007 when EP had fully grown and was educating up to 1,200 students in Year 1-12 classes.
During their first ten years, the English Programs within Assumption College Bangkok’s city campuses developed a very strong identity and reputation within the school community. Their growth and success can be contributed to many factors including the strong reputation of Assumption College in Thailand and the strong and steady leadership provided by a team of Thai and foreign administrators. In fact, due to its excellent Management and Teaching Methodology the English Program within Assumption College was used as the Model EP by the Thai Ministry of Education.
The entire Assumption College Rama II campus covers an enormous area of 225 rai (36 hectares)! It is located approximately 30 kilometres south-west of Bangkok’s city centre, on Rama II Road. ACEP’s modern, spacious and environmentally friendly design makes an inspiring place for our students to learn and develop not only academically, but also socially and morally. The campus certainly allows opportunities for students to develop a range of academic, sporting, musical and other extracurricular interests.
The Director of Assumption College English Program is Bro. Dr. Pisutr Vapiso. He is supported by Bro. Dr. Siriroj Viriyasirimongkol, Vice Directors, Bro. Supharoek Singhaphan, Assistant Director) and a team of Thai and foreign administrators.
