On Wedensday, February 18, Assumption College English Program (ACEP) held the 56th Commencement Ceremony for its Year 12 students. The ceremony, which was held in the Multipurpose Room of The Trinity Building, was attended by our Year 12 graduating students, ACEP Brothers, School Board representatives, parents, administrators, and teachers. During the ceremony, students were given their graduation diplomas as well as certificates for their exceptional achievements in individual subjects and participation in extra-curricular activities.
Bro. Surasit Sukchai, Director, delivered a speech, and prayers were led by Father Thananchai Kitsamak from St. Anna Catholic Church.
The ceremony also included a string-tying ceremony which gave the teachers the opportunity to wish their students good luck and encourage them to work hard during their university studies and later in their lives. Student Council president, Samathi Sodsaengthien, in his speech, thanked the graduating Year 12 students for being role models to younger students and wished them all the best in their respective futures. Graduating students thanked Bro. Surasit, the school and teachers for their hard work and dedication in a speech given by Ramita Kanawaree.
After the ceremony, everyone was invited to a farewell party at the All Saints Dormitory. The casual party was a great way to end this wonderful day and gave teachers and students a chance to talk about their future plans.
