Cambridge English : Young Learner Exams
Tuesday 14th February 2017
On Thursday 9th February Primary students from Year 2 to Year 5 were involved in the Cambridge Young Learner exams at Assumption College English Program. This is the fourth year in which ACEP students have sat the tests and 2017 once again had a large amount of enrolments with 117 students sitting either the Starters, Movers or Flyers test. The tests were organised by the Bell Language Centre and were administered by Cambridge English Language Assessment.
The results should be available by the start of the 2017 to 2018 academic year and early signs suggest that the students have performed even better than they have done in previous years. We would like to thank the teachers and parents who helped prepare the students for today’s exams and it is important to also mention that the students not only performed well in the tests, but were confident, well-mannered and very well-behaved. It has been really pleasing to see the students who first took the Starters test back in 2015 taking the Movers again two years later and how much progress they have made in such a short space of time. This bodes very well for the students and is a pattern we hope will be repeated throughout their time at ACEP.
